THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT to Appear On MTV Holland's '6Pack'

July 8, 2006

Dutch death metallers THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT have issued the following update:

"Two weeks ago we did a successful show at the legendary London Deathfest 2006. We totally cleansed the venue with our pain-in-the-ass death metal.

"Last week was very hectic for THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT. MTV Holland called us and asked us to collaborate with them for their show '6Pack'. One of the '6Pack' hostesses, Nicolette, wanted to be a singer in a death metal band. MTV were looking for the best band in the Dutch death metal genre so it is no coincidence that they gave us a call. Of course we said yes and three days later we were being filmed in our rehearsal bunker where Robin and Michiel desperately tried to [teach] the hostess the noble art of grunting. Later that week the film crew filmed THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT at the Waldrock pre-party in Bergum where Nicolette entered the stage on 'Concrete Sarcophagus' to grunt her bowels out of her nice body. We will add a news item when the item will be broadcast, and if possible add a link to the movie stream.

"Lastly, we are very busy with some new material for our upcomming masterpiece. Our planning is to record it at the end of 2006 and the release is scheduled for spring 2007. Some preliminary titles so far (no particular order): 'Wrath of the Ba'ath', 'Master of the Bryansk Forest', 'Coldness Wraps this Suffering Clay', 'The Way Forward', 'Ad Infinitum Rex Extraterrestrium', 'Redemption from Laodicea' and 'The Silent Atrocity'. The album title is as yet unknown, but undoubtedly it will be disgusting, repellent, noxious and abhorrent to several groups around the globe."
